Chippewa Picnic Area
Chippewa Picnic Area is the smallest and least used Picnic Area in the Brecksville Reservation. It has two picnic tables, two charcoal grills, one bathroom, and plenty of parking spaces. It is also the only picnic area in the park right next to a creek.
This picnic area can hold about ten visitors, is extremely quiet, and is primarily used for picnics. It is recommended only to use this weather in summer or when it is appropriate to sit outside. It should be noted that the parking lot is usually full and used mainly for trail access.
Some of the trails it is located near are Deer Lick Cave Trail and the White Oak Trail. It is located near the main road, Chippewa Creek Road, making it easy to find.

Chippewa Picnic Area is a peaceful, quiet, and small area of the park. Because of this, it is typically full or is not as ideal as other locations for all four seasons of the year.

The easiest way to get to the Chippewa Picnic Area (parking lot) is to put it into your phone and GPS the Chippewa Picnic area.
- If arriving from the north, take Royalton Road to Chippewa Creek Road. In 1.5 miles (just before Valley Parkway), you’ll arrive at the Chippewa Picnic Area parking lot on the right.
- If arriving from Riverview Road, take Chippewa Creek Road for 1/2 mile until you reach the Chippewa Picnic Area parking lot on the left (just past Valley Parkway).
- If arriving from Brecksville Road, take Valley Parkway for 2 miles down to Chippewa Creek Road. Take a left, and the Chippewa Picnic Area parking lot will be immediately to your left.
